victorian onyx and brass lamp

Circa 1880. A late Victorian brass and onyx oil lamp recently converted to electricity. The top with a small brass lamp holder, original reservoir and on/off switch resting on an alabaster column with a classical Corinthian top, resting on a stepped base with four brass wreaths on the facings.

The business grew so rapidly, they couldn't keep up with their inventory needs. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh.
