Circa 1850, rare mid Victorian Indian Rosewood brass mounted, fitted trunk in the colonial style. The rectangular top with extensive foliate brass inlay and moulded rim opens to a finely fitted, removable interior with carved lids and wells. The military-type, cast brass carrying handles are to the brass mounted and banded body.
