Very decorative. Likely produced in China for the European market.
The writing slope is made in the Victorian English style, with a slanted lid, so that when opened, acts as a sloping desk. There is a compartment for keeping letters and writing stationery. There is also a slot that contains the square travelling ink pot, another for pens and pencils. Good condition overall with some small abrasions here and there. One corner is chipped.
