victorian billiard-dining table c1880

A fine quality and very rare Victorian slate bed combined billiard/dining table by 'Cooper & Holt' c1880 in mahogany supported on four bulbous turned legs. The centre section of the table revolves over from dining to reveal the slate playing surface of 7ft x 3ft6ins. We have carried out complete renovation of the polished surfaces by hand as befits such a fine antique, and fitted new cushion rubber & fine finish green baize to the playing surfaces.
Conversion of the table from dining to playing is simply a matter of releasing two locking handles along the table side & revolving the whole centre section over, then locking the handles back into place. Conversion from playing back to dining is simply a matter of reversing those steps. A fine antique which is still perfectly useable for billiards, snooker or pool.
