Circa 1810. A Regency burr ewe sarcophagus shaped tea caddy of generous proportions with string inlay between the segments on the top and there is a small rectangular section which has got boxwood inlay. Inside the lid there are 3 lidded sections, 1 large one in the centre and 2 smaller ones left and right. The lids are in ewe and they have stylish knobs with a ribbed top. The inside of the lid has been covered in fabric. At the front there is a bone diamond shaped escutcheon, a further string inlay, 2 large bronze patination lifting rings at the sides and at the base and the whole piece stands on 4 large squat bun feet.
