portrait of major general sir henry willoughby rooke 1782-1869

Lt.-Col Henry Willoughby Rooke served at Waterloo, but although a member of the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Regiment of Foot Guards, he was on the staff of the 1st Division, not serving with his regiment. His records and letters can be found at the Gloucestershire Record Office, and are available through the 1815 Limited website at www.1815.ltd.uk and are contained therein with full genealogical (as well as a book entitled: Waterloo 3rd Regiment of Foot Guards) I hope that this is of some assistance.
