This is a handsome pair of life size bronzeFallow deer stags, datingfrom the late20thcentury.

The stags are made of bronze by the lost wax process with a beautiful dark brown patina. They featureimpressive antlers and are tentative in motion as they walk cautiously.
Placed together or apart, these stags will make a striking addition to any setting,
and are a fine collector's item.

Fallow DeerThis medium-sized deer has palmate antlers. Coats vary in colour, from black and caramel tothe more common tawny and white-spotted coat. Does and young have short barks, while bucks emit a deep groan, especially in mating season.
