This is a beautiful, rare gents Omega Seamaster 600 vintage watch, dating from the late 1960s, and in very clean original condition. The watch features a steel screwback case, original signed winding crown, clean dial and a very clean, freshly serviced hand-wound Omega 17 jewel movement (Cal 601). It comes complete with a new leather strap and its original Omega buckle. The watch will provide an excellent financial investment in this condition.
You can feel confident buying from me. My vintage watch business is my hobby and passion; I co-own venture capital firm Baringxavier (www.baringxavier.com), among other business interests, so I have no interest or need to treat you unprofessionally in any way. And I offer a full refund if you are not entirely happy with your purchase. I also provide a full receipt, six months guarantee (long enough for you to assess working order) and professional insurance valuation (I am approved to provide insurance valuations for high wrist and pocket watches). I also welcome you to come and view the watch at our central London address, in New Bond Street - by appointment only. I offer my customers online prices - below value - with offline availability and service.

The steel screwback case is in very clean condition and measures 32mm wide, excluding the original signed winding crown x 38mm long, including the lugs. The case back screws tightly closed and the outside carries the famous Seamaster emblem. The inside is signed 'Omega Watch Co', 'Fab Suisse Swiss made', 'Acier Inoxydable' and the '035.012' reference number.
The beautiful original, unrestored silvered dial is in mint condition and is signed 'Omega', 'Seamaster 600' and 'Swiss Made'. The original hands, including sweeping centre seconds hand, are in excellent, unbent condition, and lens is very clear.
The hand-wound Omega 17 jewel movement (Cal 601) is in near mint condition, with the screwheads hardly touched. It is excellent quality, as you would expect, and is signed 'Omega Watch Co', 'Seventeen 17 jewels', 'Swiss', 'Adjusted two 92) positions', '601' and the '21998901' movement reference number. The movement has just been serviced by a master watchmaker and is in excellent working order, keeping excellent time, with a power reserve of around 30 hours.
I have put this lovely watch on a new leather strap, which I can change for a different colour if you wish. Attached is the original steel Omega buckle, which adds to the value. The watch comes complete with a new, non-Omega watch case.
A rare, highly collectable watch from one of watch history's most famous names; full of charm and elegance. Will provide an excellent financial investment as well as a possession to enjoy.
