A 20th century oak standard lamp by 'Acornman' Alan Grainger of Brandsby North Yorkshire. Acorn Industries was started by George Grainger, a former Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson craftsman, in the mid-30s. The octagonal based standard lamp is in the style of Mousey Thompson of Kilburn and is well made using fine oak. The lamp is in very good condition and has been re-wired and tested.
