ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Marcela Levinská Borecká *1955 - Marilion - artist living in Prague has been painting professionally more than 30 years, focused on modern realism and last 5 years on abstract art. Her exhibition were organized in Berlin, Paris, Cairo etc. and many times in her native city Prague.
She is the director of AMBIT ART exhibition that took place seven times in ancient closter of franciscan brethren just in the centre of Prague.
Her works of art encompass four basic thematic areas. The first area comprises the themes with a touch of the exotic, inspired by sightseeing during journeys to France, Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Israel, Tunesia, Egypt, Morocco, Greece etc. The paintings evoking the impressions of temples and sacred elements constitute the second thematic area of her art. The third range of artist activity involves intimate oil and acrylic paintings and pastels of still lifes and faces of friends and also her family. The newest is her discovery of freedom in abstract painting.
