A NICE EARLY 19TH CENTURY GEORGIAN SOLID SILVER BLADED AND MOTHER OF PEARL HANDLED BUTTER SPREADER ASSAYED IN BIRNINGHAM IN 1810 BY THE SILVERSMITH JOSEPH TAYLOR WHO WAS A LISTED AND PROLIFIC MAKER OF SMALL QUALITY PIECES OF SILVER, THE BUTTER SPREADER MEASURES 6.75 INCHES LONG AND HAS AN ORNATE ETCHED BLADED RIM , IT COMES IN NICE CONDITION CONSIDERING BEING 202 YEARS OLD WITH NO DAMAGE TO THE MOTHER OF PEARL HANDLE THE ONLY BLEMISH BEING VERY LIGHT AGE RELATED WEAR TO THE BLADE AND IS NOTHING REALY CONSIDERING AGE BUT MENTIONED FOR ACCURACY , A GOOD ANTIQUE 202 YEARS OLD GEORGIAN BUTTER SPREADER THAT LOOKS AND DISPLAYS BEAUTIFULLY AND WOULD GRACE ANY COLLECTION.
