Marine telescope - Brass - circa 1900
A handheld telescoping spyglass with no visible maker's mark
May have belonged to Charles W.R. Royds.
Both the eyepiece and the surround for the objective lens are brass and the tubular body is wrapped in light brown woven wool blanket fabric that has been roughly hand stitched with cotton thread along the seam
And has leather brown strap missing clasp
