The interior of this wonderful jewellery box is lined with a blue silk velvet. The removable tray has a number of compartments for storing bangles, chains, bracelets and watches etc. Beneath the lift out tray is further room for storage of jewellery, trinkets, etc.

Davis Patent locks had a very prestigeous visitor in King George III, he was a regular visitor and interested in the making and workings of the locks, so much so he had made for the goverment. The key & Lock are works of art and for this reason they are highly soght after.
To unlock and lock this wonderful jewellery box please read instructions below.
The key is inserted into the lock turned 90° clockwise. The key can then be pressed in further into the lower chamber of the lock where it engages with the locking mechanism. A turn through 180° will throw the bolt and allow the key to be drawn out of the lower chamber.
