ITEM DESCRIPTION: Original Goauche Painting of a Hunting Scene with one of the rider's being catapulted off his horse. Signed J.T Kenney and dated (19)39. Simple Frame and Mount. John Theodore Eardley Kenney (1911-1972) was a listed painter and illustrator, most famous for being the illustrator of the Railway Series Books (Thomas the Tank Engine). This is a good, early work, a beautiful painting. Actual painting measures 24.5cm x 34.5cm. Stunning.
