Henry Cahieux (Designer) & Ferdinand Barbedienne (Maker) Ormolu, Marble, and Patinated Bronze Lamp Circa. 1850-1860 France Absolutely exquisite French bronze candelabra lamp designed by Henry Cahieux. From the foundry of Ferdinand Barbedienne. In the style of Louis XVI Comes with black silk shade Cast bronze, brown patinated amphora with bird figures in relief. Supported on a deep orange/black marble and bronze base with paw feet. Topped with (5) bronze candle holders. Finial is a replacement The lamp with shade measures 32 1/2 inches in height. 29 1/2 inches high without shade. The base measures 4 inches high 6 inches deep 6 inches wide Weight is 10.2 pounds Diameter of lamp measures 9 1/2 inches Lamp is signed by both Cahieux and Barbedienne on bottom of the amphora.. Switch on electrical cord - pull chains on sockets Condition is excellent except for the slightest curvature in the center post adjacent to the bobeches It is so slight that it is hard to see in the photograph. Mentioned for the sake of accuracy. In excellent original condition
