ITEM DESCRIPTION: Original Mid 20th Century Black Desk Lamp, the Iconic Model 1227 Anglepoise Lamp by Herbert Terry & Sons of Redditch. Two Stepped, Heavy Square Base. This has been left in work worn condition with original black paintwork, but has been fully re-wired using a contrasting old style brown cord and replacement but period bakelite bulbholder, and new plug. All the joints and springs are good and working, the original paintwork with age wear and paint splatters, could be cleaned off if required, but sold as it is. Original.
