gilded & hand painted blue royale porcelain jewellery casket 20th century

This is an exquisite and very attractive gilded porcelain 'bleu Royale' jewellery casket in the Russian Imperial style, from the last quarter of the 20th century.

The hinged lid has a lovely oval gilt cartouche in the centre featuring a stunning vase of flowers of different colours against a white background.
The body of the casket features attractive gilded foliate decoration all around and matching gilt borders.
It stands on eight delightful feet in the shape of leaves.
