A late 18th to early 19th century Georgian mahogany shield shaped swing dressing mirror. The original mirror plate is held in a shield shaped mahogany frame with a chequered line inlay edge. The mirror is hung between two shaped arms by brass pins on which it swings. The bow fronted three drawer base has matching chequered inlays and bracket shaped feet. The drawers are mahogany lined, the outer smaller drawers have brass battle-axe shaped handles and the large middle drawer is a key pull with a working lock. The dressing mirror is in good condition, the mirror plate has some spotting marks.
