On offer here is a fine Georgian Irish sterling silver sauce ladle, bearing a stag and anchor crest, and hallmarked for Arthur Murphy, Dublin c 1805 (date letters rubbed). Measuring 6.25 inches, 17 cms, in length, and weighing 38 g , this ladle comes in good condition; light surface scratches consistent with age. A functional, quality piece of Irish silver that can be still used and enjoyed to-day.
