    A George III Mahogany Knife Box.
     
    An attractive and good quality knife box in need of some restoration.
     
    The exterior is showing signs of bumping, cracking and marking. Various pieces of edging veneer are missing. The lid is currently misaligned by about 5mm and is missing its retaining clasp.
     
    The interior has been stripped.
     
    Overall this is an attractive box with beautiful grain, it is certainly worthy of some attention.
