    Oil on Canvas in handsome gilt frame.
    J.A.Wheeler was the second son of John Alfred (1821 - 1903) head of the family well known for their depiction of Racehorses.
    Flying Fox is shown with Mornington Cannon up wearing the colours of the Duke of Westminster, he was trained by John Porter and won 9 of his eleven starts
    including the Triple Crown of 1899.
    He was a grandson by Orme of the greay Ormonde and out of Vampire by Galopin
