    Antique English Silverplate Bain Marie Lazy Susan Revolving Server

    You are viewing a gorgeous English silverplate lazy susan revolving server. The piece features bain marie serving dishes - this is the system where the serving cannisters sit in the central round tray immersed, so you can keep the food heated if you require.

     
    The silverplate work is very ornate and features hand chased designs - hand chasing is the process whereby the designs are knocked and bent into the surface of the silverplate so you can feel them in relief. The designs include flowers, leaves and garlands and the detail is exquisite, as I hope the photos show.
     
    The piece features the centre urn with lid and finial. Around this are the four smaller recepticles and then there are other salt sellars and dishes. This really would make your dining experience fit for a king.
     
    This is offered in perfect condition ready for home use right away and we will ship to anywhere in the world. We bought this from a dealer in London's Portobello Road.
