Circa 1900. A quality carved and giltwood Chippendale style mirror. The bevel edged mirror contained in a stylish gilded frame with beaded fore-edge with two small foliate capitals, the top has a carved and pierced foliate section including leaves, flowers and icicle motifs, surmounted by a sprig of three flower heads and leaves. There are further icicle motifs to the sides, with elegant extended C scrolls with striking foliate carving to the outside. The bottom with a pierced section, finishing with a circular scrolling area with foliate carving beneath.

Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
