As you may already know, Dutch painter Corneille was co-founder of the avant-garde Cobra movement. His paintings are very much in favour in the current market and even though your painting is small, this is a striking piece of art. Interestingly, Christie's Paris are offering an large and impressive oil painting by Corneille in their December sale, for €30,000-€50,000. It would be worth keeping an eye on the final result to see how Corneille's work is holding up in the current market. An attractive piece.
