This is an antique wall mirror. An Italian, gilt gesso and glass ornate overmantle mirror, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.

• Delightfully ornate mirror, ideal throughout the home
• Displays a desirable aged patina
• Crafted in gilt gesso with wonderful golden hues across the fascinating finish
• Later mirror plate presents a desirable light foxing, whilst retaining a fine reflection
• Striking frame hosts flying birds, shell motif and foliate detail to great effect
• Dressed to the reverse with a pair of brass hoops for ease of mounting

This is an appealing antique wall mirror, with a pleasingly Italianate appearance. A treat in the hall or above the fireplace. Delivered polished and ready to display.
