An Exceptionally Fine Quality English Well Figured Solid Bur Walnut Ladies or Gents Jewelry or Storage Box of outstanding quality and medium proportions with Retailer's name John Hall & Co. 50 King Street, Manchester, England, began in 1848.

Complete with its original lift out interior tray, flush hinges and polished brass scutcheon, first half of the 19th Century, complete with later lined interior, which is very professionally done using a stylish Emerald Green heavy paper lining.

Condition: Professionally restored. Box closes firmly with no gaps. Lock and key are present and working well, nice original firm hinges.

Height: 2.5” (5cm). Width: 11.5” (29cm). Depth: 10.25” (26cm).
