    ITEM 54 CONDITION
    Item is in excellent condition with no visible damage. Green cloth case with a green silk interior and gilt lettering is in good condition although has visible wear due to age, handling, and usage.

     
    ITEM 54 DESCRIPTION
    Antique Victorian sterling silver rectangular-shaped hinged card case attached with a chain around it.
     
    The front side is engraved with a scene of a troubadour outside an inn serenading a woman in the window surrounded by scrolling foliage, a ship in the sea in the distance, and an initials monogram.
     
    The reverse side is engraved with a scrolling foliage pattern.
     
    Comes in a green cloth case with a green silk interior and gilt lettering which reads Gorham M’F, Co. Sterling Silver.
     
    Birmingham made, circa 19th century.
