Splendid Small Antique Rosewood Canterbury Whatnot. Dating from the mid 19thC (mid Victorian) this fine Antique Canterbury Whatnot has boldly turned barley twist vertical columns linking the base (Canterbury) rack with the top shelf. The front of the Canterbury has a full width drawer with curved front, fine fretwork and three rack compartments. Sitting on its original brass castors and wheels this fine quality small Antique Rosewood Canterbury Whatnot has wonderful deep colours and natural rosewood graining and is without doubt a very pretty example of this decorative yet useful type of small antique furniture
