Antique Antique Pair French Ormolu Gilt Bronze Dore Twin Arm Candelabra Candlesticks 19C

Stunning Pair French Heavy Gauge Ormolu and Patinated Bronze Single Light Candlesticks of outstanding quality and of generous tall proportions.

Each having a Campana-form candle socket with original firm fitting plain drip pan. The elegant gently tapering reeded turned bronze central stem with Acanthus terminal, raised on three elaborately leaf-capped bronze claw supports and ending on a plain tri-form inverted base. First half of the Nineteenth Century, possibly Regency period.

Condition: Superb condition, these pieces have been professionally re-gold plated and bronze patinated, original firm fitting drip pans.

Height: (entire as shown image one, an impressive) 12.75" (32cm). Width: (at base). 5.75" (14.5cm). Depth: (at base) 5.25" (12.5cm).
