antique oak fireplace surround/mantle

This lovely fireplace surround is too wide for our chimney breast, sadly it never fitted as it should for that reason so we have removed it and hope that it finds a rightful fireplace in your house.

It is clean and smoke free with some minimal marks that are hard to see with the eye and are visible in some photos. More than happy to provide more detailed photos.
The surface seems to be waxed from what we understand. Surface is smooth, matt and velvety soft. An absolute pleasure to touch and feel.
We love wood and tried our best to remove it with minimal effect to it.
It has no smells of wood burning or anything else. We never lit the fireplace in the time we had the surround in place.
Very unigue wood and colour effect.
