Antique Antique Manuscript Paper Featuring Hindu God Lord Brahma

In the Hindu pantheon, Brahma is referred to as "The Creator" within the the triple deity of supreme divinity that includes Vishnu, and Shiva. He is associated with creation and knowledge.

Lord Brahma usually has four heads. But there is an explanation for the fifth head on this manuscript. Lord Brahma grew each of his heads in order to look at Goddess Saraswati. She kept moving into his blind spot and he would grow a new new head to look at her every time she shifted her position (to turn his head would have been rude). When all four directions were covered, she flew above him but here again, he grew a fifth head which sprouted from his crown and gazed at the sky where Goddess Saraswati was hovering.

Legend states that Brahma was born in a lotus, emerging from the navel of Vishnu.
