A very attractive longcase clock dating from the 19th Cent with a musical movement chiming on the quarters on a carillon of 8 bells (either Westminster of Whittington chimes) and striking the hour on an additional bell.
The case is in beautifully figured mahogany, it has retained its original finish and is a beautiful colour.
The 8 day movement has a most attractive brass dial with a silvered chapter ring and gilt spandrels. In addition to the chime selector it also has a strike / silent selector.
The movement is in good working order and is complete with pendulum and 3 weights.
