    Antique Victorian 800 Silver Large Mesh Purse With 21-Inch Chain Circa. 1900 European Silver purse of 800 silver (marked inside frame) 800 silver is less silver content than sterling, which has 925 parts per 1000; 800 silver is 800 parts per 1000 Sterling silver is a softer metal and would not do as well as 800 silver as a purse. This purse has a triangular fringe at bottom with small ball dangles.....all present. It also has a longer (21 inch) handle which allows you to wear it on your shoulder. There are a few areas where the mesh is a little thinner but there are NO HOLES I mention this for the sake of clarification The purse is a nice size as a cell phone fits. Most purses are too small for today's phone. Purse measures 6 inches high x 6 inches wide x 1/4 inch deep Total weight is 6.3 ounces In excellent condition
