Edwardian Silver Paste Riviere Necklace With Matching Locket Circa. 1905-1915 United Kingdom Absolutely exquisite Edwardian necklace with pristine matching locket. Rare quality silver necklace with round paste stones (1/8") bezel-set by hand. Rarely do you find paste stones so perfect a match and with uniform brilliance! The clasp in invisible and works perfectly The necklace can be worn by itself or with other pendants, the locket worn with or without a photo Original bevelled glass included No imperfections whatsoever.....all original Hinge on locket works perfectly Please note: Replicating this necklace with the hand set paste stones today would be impossible.....as the labor cost would be prohibitive Each stone is hand set in a silver cylinder with a tiny rim keeping the stone in place Only with diamonds could this process be duplicated in today's market The necklace measures 17 inches The locket is 2 inches high and 1 inch wide. The original glass measures 3/4 inch high and 1/2 inch wide. Total weight is 26.0 g. 16.7 dwt Paste stones are all superb!
