    A 19th Century oil on canvas painting attached to board.
     
    A charming portrait of an affluent lady captured in an atmospheric panelled interior. Possible Circle Of Alfred Walter Bayes, Signed "A. B 1883".
     
    The painting displays well and is housed behind glass. There is no evidence of any substantial damage. Craquelure can be seen across the canvas with the frame showing further age related bumps and marks.
     
    I'd recommend studying the provided photos. These photos also show the painting with and without the glass.
