    It measures 19.5ins (49cms) x 15.5ins (39cms) to the outside of the frame and is executed on canvase, strung and ready to hang.
    It is a well executed work with nice impressionistic figure detail and an atmospheric sky, within an interesting and skillfully handled composition.
     
    It is signed at bottom left 'ERIK ELKAN'.
    It is in good condition with no holes or repairs but the canvas below the top edge of the frame has buckled for about a couple of inches down. That said it doesn't really notice and doesn't setract from the great appeal of this loveley marine work.
