Spectacular late Victorian pendant centre of the finest colour and quality. The top section is one large piece of amethyst carved in a tri-lobed design, with a large amethyst drop, all mounted in a cut-down gold setting, circa 1890. To this we have added a 10mm amethyst bead necklace of comparable colour and quality, with a silver-gilt magnetic ball clasp. If you love amethysts you won't find better. The centre section is 1 7/8 inches:46mm across, and 2 3/4 inches: 70mm top to bottom. The total necklace length is 18 inches:56 cms but can be re-strung shorter if required
