Hever was home for the cause of the English Reformation whose charms were such that Henry VIII made Anne Boleyn wife number two. Having been found guilty of witchcraft, plotting to kill the king, incest and adultery she will also have been late for dinner when beheaded. Losing the Kings affections to Jane Seymour were posthumously vindicated when her daughter became Queen Elizabeth.
