A set of four original finely painted Roman Wall Frescos in the manner of Michaelangelo Maestri of Pompeii excavations. Highly detailed Wall Frescos watercolour paintings on laid paper from the Neopolitan School beginning in 1720s there was a great interest in Roman Art, discovered with the excavations of ancient cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum which has been preserved, frozen in time when they were buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 76AD.
Drawings and paintings of Frescos served as souvenirs for Grand Tour travellers and provided inspiration to Neoclassical artists and decorative art designs.

Antiques have been our family passion for over 40 years. Gone are the days when I was young and travelled the country with my father buying different antiques and collectibles. My father dealt in antiques all his life and had a permanent antique and collectable stall and that is where our passion grew from. I recall when I was younger my father bought and sold Antiques and he at times went to Windsor House Antiques in Leeds which was owned by Kevin Smith who my father dealt with many many times way back in the 1970s.
