A scarce Arcadian crested china model of an early Monoplane - Military C.1914
This model is based on a Bleriot Monoplane which as well as being a popular aircraft with sporting pilots between 1909 - 1914, was also used by the allies during the early stages of W.W.1. This model bears the makers mark for Arkinstall & Sons "Arcadian China".
It has a glazed white body with gilt detail and still has its original (removable) propeller. The hand painted highlights on the crest; for Alderburgh
