A fine and impressive pair of 19th century French bronze candelabra with gilded sconces and mounts, stylized with ivy leaves. standing on three lion''s legs. The casting is of fine quality, very precise and sharp. Stamped with No. 2754. Possibly from the Barbedienne foundry Paris (1810 - 1892).
This pair are very similar to models sculpted by Barye in the late nineteenth century.
