A middle of the 19th century turned rosewood 'Treen' needlework or tapestry frame. The frame is designed to hold a piece of material that is to be embroidered and has adjustable stretcher bars. The frame will hold a piece of material up to 39cm x 35cm and stands in an oblong tray base. The frame is in good order with the tip of one of the metal wing nuts missing.
