19th century garnet cluster ring

This is a beautiful piece. It is a late 19th century garnet cluster ring. Featuring 58 garnets set within four circles on a simple split shoulder. It measures 2.5cm in length by 2cm in diameter. The ring itself is gilt metal rather than gold. It is czechoslovakian in origin. It is a NZ/UK size Q 1/2 or USA size 8.5. A truly lovely ring.
