Enamelling was an Italian speciality in the 1970s, when this tabby cat was made. It is beautifully enamelled in translucent white and shades of brown and yellow, on textured 18K. The nose is enamel, but the eyes are tear-drop jades, and the mouth a ruby - and there are a few tiny diamonds in the bow, just for a hint of sparkle. It is simply stamped 750 on a paw, but the work and enamelling is undoubtedly Italian. Ear to tail 1 3/4 inches: 48 mm approximately
