#10205 an early 20th century brown leather despatch box with postal slot

An Early 20th Century Brown Leather Clad Documents Box by this maker, with central recessed handle opening on a full width piano hinge, with quadrant stays, to a green Morocco leather lined interior, the makers name and address stamped on the leading edge. The Bramah lock is in good working order. An interesting and unusual feature is the posting slot in the right side of the lid allowing papers to be put in the box without the need to open it.
The initials I.M.F. are stamped indistinctly in the lid
