#10191 an attractive edwardian tooled leather writing box

An Attractive Edwardian Tan Leather Writing Box, with fine gilt design and deeply embossed blue and black line tooling covering the top & sides, The interior is edged is with an intricate gold floral design and features the original emerald and green tooled velvet writing surface, which is lifted by means of a sprung catch. A removable lid covers three compartments for STAMPS PENS & WAFERS. On the reverse is the trade label for E. BYAM, 321 Bazaar Soho Square. A full width tray covers a compartment with several sections. The interior is lined with white watered silk paper throughout. The lock is in good working order.
