An Edward VII Morocco Leather Despatch Box C1905 stamped 'King Edward's Hospital Fund' with the Royal Insignia, with a central brass swing handle and label holder, the leather lined interior having raised sides.
The lock, stamped Bramah, has been adapted and is operated by a non Bramah key.

*The King's Fund was formed in 1897 as an initiative of the then Prince of Wales to allow for the collection and distribution of funds in support of the hospitals of London.
