    July Newsletter

We hope you’ve been enjoying the warm weather, although there’s been rain, it’s been altogether quite lovely, going out and enjoying the sunshine with that essential breeze, enjoying outdoor activities and spending time with loved ones. As is usual with the summer months, there will be plenty of fairs over the summer season, but there’s one in particular we think you’ll really love.

Opening today, in London, “Masterpiece 2016,” with various pieces on display from antiques to art and sculpture. We’re looking at least 150 or more gallery exhibits, with opportunities to buy piece from the various disciplines featured. It’s a lesson in art and history, and promises to be a lively event, an opportunity to learn about your favourite art pieces or antiques, and learn a little more about things you knew nothing about.

6 days and over 5,000 years of creation
For those will a love of antiquity there will be featured work from over 5,000 years with something for everyone. There are various events between the 30 th June and 6 th July and what’s more, www.gonemodern.com will also be there with Iain Brunt of www.antiques.co.uk who will be curating a new sculpture

"The lost Fragment - a prosthetic fallacy" ,come and meet him on Stand A14 "Based Upon"

    Jewels to Sculpture
Over the course of the event there will be a variety of different public fair days, with everything from piano recitals to paintings, pop artist’s jewels and contemporary art as well as a look at Scandinavian design. We’re talking about sculpture in one of our blogs this month, and we’re hoping it will provide inspiration to seeking out your very own interesting antique sculptures.

Summer weather, summer fairs and antiques shopping
We’ve also taken a look at high-level antiques and what to look out for, so we hope there’s plenty there to keep you interested. We hope you enjoy the summer weather and what the rest of July has to offer, there’s always plenty to do in London in the summer months, but if you’re outside the city, there’s sure to be events to keep you and the children occupied throughout summer. Of course, there’ll be plenty of antique fairs to keep you busy, so keep an eye out for a bargain, or perhaps you could trawl shops and antique shows for more high level items. If that sounds too energetic, just put your feet up and take a look online at www.antiques.co.uk you may find it more relaxing.

    Until next time….
