This summer there’s been a lot going on, we’ve already had the European Football Championships, with Wales and Iceland showing what a small nation is capable of, and Wimbledon saw Andy Murray win the Championship for the second time. It’s a great time for Britain, and I say that despite the results of the EU Referendum. Whichever way you voted, the sporting championships have at least taken us away from the pandemonium and the fallout that’s ensued following the results.
August sees the beginning of the Rio Olympics, and one of our blogs this week talks about the Olympics, what we hope our British athletes will achieve, and for some of you, the joy of collecting sports memorabilia.
August will be the last month of summer, and how it’s sped past, we’ve just had the Masterpiece Antiques Fair 2016, and what a success that was and a perfect opportunity to mix and mingle with antique lovers from all over London and the UK.
Autumn will be upon us soon enough, if you have a holiday planned do enjoy it, and take some hard earned time out with family and friends. We’ll see you next month, hopefully refreshed and energised, in readiness for the autumn months ahead.
