vintage thurston & co mahogany snooker / billiard scoreboard - mid 20th century

This is a vintage Thurston & Co mahogany snooker or billiard scoring board. This is a wall-hanging example that is largely free of decoration. It has gilt numbers with sliding brass markers above a slate chalkboard. There is the makers plaque and a further nameplate with a date possibly the club captain or champion. Some numbers are faded, but it is otherwise in good condition.
